Informatica has been involved in creating Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for many organizations. All were executed effectively at first, but later many failed to sustain the growing momentum of their organizations.>
In most cases, the CoE survived only for the time the key sponsor remained in place. The evident issues across these CoEs were similar and were not major roadblocks. Fixing them could have solved most emerging problems in those CoEs, and enabled them to grow and provide increasingly greater value.
